Originating in 1849 as a means to protect gamekeepers heads whilst hunting, nobleman Edward Coke is credited with commissioning the very first incarnation of the bowler hat. Our DeLarge is named after "A Clockwork Orange's" ultra-violent protagonist Alex "The Large", who completed his all white outfit with a codpiece, a cane and a black bowler hat.
